Thought and opinions are my own
I’ve seen the popularity and talk about K-Beauty, aka, Korean Beauty Care. These products have taken over the shelves at Sephora, Ulta and beauty counters everywhere. It’s all about the double cleanse, so when Preen.me reached out to me to try the Julep K-beauty double cleanse, I was intrigued and curious. The cleansing packet given included the Love your Bare face cleansing oil, cleansing stick and the Konjac sponge to exfoliate the skin.
I tried the products and two out of the three were a hit. I enjoyed the cleansing oil. It removed my makeup so easily, was lightweight and smelt fresh with a light lemon scent. The cleansing stick was a new method of cleaning my face, so I was a little weary, but it actually worked out well. My face felt clean, getting down deep leaving my face feeling nice and clean. I wasn’t a fan of the Konjac sponge. The purpose of it used as an exfoliator worked just fine, what I didn’t enjoy was the consistency and texture. It felt like a wet dirty sponge and I just couldn’t bare to think about putting that on my face everyday.
This two-step cleanser is great for those who want a quick get the job don’t routine at night. It also makes a great travel friendly option. That’s exactly how I’ll use this as I don’t see this taking the place of my daily skin care products from Rodan + Fields. It’s a great size that won’t take up too much space when packed. I am impressed at the Julep brand and looking forward to trying out more products from this line.
