Happy Monday all! Today I’m showing you how to take a daily spring romper from day to night. This one-piece ensemble can easily give you two different looks, one during the day, and one at night. Rompers are known for their easiness, casual look, and daytime feel. I’m taking this simple little romper, and turning it into a fun, flirty nighttime outfit in two easy steps.
Step one: Dress it up by adding a simple blazer. This white linen blazer is springtime appropriate. The white color keeps things light, while the linen fabric is suitable for the warmer weather. Blazers don’t always have to be black. During the spring/summer seasons, retailers usually offer colored blazers, giving consumers something different, and weather appropriate for the season. Using a white blazer for this look, gives it a sophisticated feel from the cut of the jacket and the white makes it pop, giving the contrasting blue a light and airy feel.
Step two: Add a waist belt. I find that adding a belt to any look instantly makes it more formal, creating a more polished look. Here, I chose I tan colored waist belt, which helps pull the entire look together. Sometimes when I feel like I want to give my waistline more definition, I like to add something that’ll cinch in at the waistline. I like to switch between wearing it over all pieces, or just over the romper.
That's it! It’s as easy as that! Getting the most out of one look takes the simple steps by adding an overcoat/blazer, or a belt. Rompers don’t have to only be a daytime casual look anymore. With a little bit of added detail and choosing the right pieces for your outfit, the overall look can change from day to night in an instant!
