As a proclaimed Fashionista, Fall wear is my favorite season. I love the coats, I love the layers, from the boots to the scarves and every accessory in between, this is my favorite season of dress. But as we are in those transitional months, our wardrobe can get confused; as the weather outside is still adjusting so will our clothes. Her are three key things great to get you through the transition to fall.
1: The denim jacket: Keeping a denim jacket in your closet is always a good thing to have. It’s not too light, but not too thick. It can be worn with so many different outfits, but my favorite pairing is with a dress. The denim jacket keeps things casual, keeps things cool, and most of all lasts a long time. I’ve had this denim jacket for over 10 years and it still looks good! Denim is so durable, so versatile that it only makes sense to keep this item on had during these in between months.
2: A lightweight scarf: Scarves are probably one of my favorite winter wear. It makes a look change in an instant adding a sense of style, pop of color and can be worn so many differ ways. I especially like to wear a scarf during this time of year since there’s a slight chill, but still warm, all I need is a scarf and I am good to go. Pick a linen, cotton, silk material to keep it still light, saving the wool scarves for the really cold months.
3: Cutout booties: This trend has been hot hot hot. It’s a version of a bootie where there are cutouts, allowing you to wear it without socks, keeping your feet cool and comfortable. I love this style of booties. It makes it so easy to wear, looks like you are ready for fall, and can be worn so many different ways. I’ve been wearing these on repeat and will definitely be wearing them through fall. Love them!!!
