3 weeks of no coffee and am I really still functioning? YES! It’s been exactly 3 weeks since I’ve cut out coffee from my diet, and I have to say I’m so surprised I’ve lasted this long. If you read my pervious post I was looking to see if my body really needed coffee and was challenging myself. In the search to fill this void that I’ve been so use to everyday, I turned to the world of Green juice. Since then, I’ve tried many different options, narrowing down what I like and dislike in my juice.
This past week has been about budgeting my green juice lifestyle, finding what works best for me. I’ve found out that nothing beats freshly made green juice from a juicery. I’d rather pay a little bit more for a fresh tasting one, than a pre bottled one. But the reality is, that I just can’t afford to go out and get my freshly made juice everyday. Instead, I found this Suja bottle at Costco that does the job during the week, and only one day do I allot myself the treat of heading to the juicery.
Overall I feel proud that I’ve made it this far with out coffee. I don’t necessarily see a huge change in my body much, and I’m not any more tired with out coffee in the morning. This choice is a personal choice that I keep myself accounted for. It’s been a fast three weeks, and while I can guarantee I’ll be back to at least some coffee once in a while, it’s nice to give your body a change, especially when it means pumping it up with good for you ingredients!
