Yesterday marked my 400th barre class at Xtend Barre By the Sea. This gem of a studio has been the place that transformed my body, my stress reliever, my friend, and honestly a second home. It’s the place where I was able to get out of my comfort zone, meet some amazing people in the community and develop long lasting friendships. Now it’s time to say goodbye.
One of the best and worst parts of military life for me is moving. While it was adventurous and exciting in the first few years, you begin to develop roots everywhere you go and in this moment, this move will be the hardest yet for me. I’ve met so many great people, had so many laughs, and sweated along side with my friends, all thanks to this studio. It was our common ground that allowed us to develop relationships beyond just working out.
So now, 2 years later, 400 classes down, I must close this chapter in my book. Thank you for all the plies, planks, and fold overs, encouragement, and laughs, it truly has transformed my body mind and soul. Those of you know, you will always have a special place in my heart. Who knew that the first day I walked into the studio it would be the place that made me feel at home, made me belong, and made me happy. Cheers to the best little studio in town and off to the next great adventure!
