Halloween usually marks the start of the holiday season for me. Out come the decorations, the crafts projects with the kids, and spending some good bonding time with family and friends. I’ve always loved the holidays. I love to decorate, enjoy big family dinners, and enjoy the ambience around town. This is the first year I actually decorated the house a bit for Halloween. Kids will change how we use to do holidays. Now it’s about them, from picking out their own Halloween costume, to picking out the biggest Christmas tree in the lot.
Some simple ways I like to decorate to be season themed is changing up the dinning room tablecloth and linens. Add a bunch of in season flowers, and you have a nice a simple holiday inspired look for your home. These sunflowers were sold at the pumpkin patch we went to, and I just couldn’t resist. They are a beautiful color, so rich, vibrant, and most of all; different. So grab your decoration of choice and get ready for the months of seasons ahead.
